While it does not please us that other (presumably paid) laying services are experiencing similar issues, it does highlight the fact that horses which have not indicated ability do seem to be winning at present. When this happens, it is usually due to unseasonable or extreme weather conditions, or some other unknowable factor, at least with our ratings (for example, a horse which comes back after a break and demonstrates unpredictably large amount of improvement). A LOT are experiencing serious downturns since (approx) mid Aug 2009 to current date. Tha amount of losing Lays is causing any followers a lot of very heavy hits to their betting banks. I have checked back over SystemLays stats since 01st July 2009 and was surprised to see, that had you REVERSED the LAY £200 bets to BACK £200 on each selection - you would be £29,049.60 in profit. On the last day alone (14th Sept 2009) you would have made £23,227.20 (on Betfair less 5%) due to the 6 high value losing Lays. Can you think of any reason for this remarkable turn of fortune? I am currently following various Laying sites with interest.

I have checked back over SystemLays stats since 01st July 2009 and was surprised to see, that had you REVERSED the LAY £200 bets to BACK £200 on each selection – you would be £29,049.60 in profit. On the last day alone (14th Sept 2009) you would have made £23,227.20 (on Betfair less 5%) due to the 6 high value losing Lays.
Can you think of any reason for this remarkable turn of fortune?
