Andy Murray in the Wimbledon Semi-Final
It’s Andy versus Andy as the Scottish hopeful, Murray, takes on the American Roddick. There are all sorts of specials being offered on this from straight sets to the number of aces. Overall, the best odds are around 37/13 (on Expekt.com) for Andy Roddick to win the match, and 3/10 for Andrew Murray. Murray is the favourite by quite a long way on most of the bookmakers. Roger Federer is favourite to win the final ahead of Murray with Roddick and Tommy Haas following behind.
So far, Wimbledon has not seen much rain, with players sweltering in tempratures of more than 30°C. Roddick had a long match against Leyton Hewitt on Wednesday evening, whereas Murray has a swift victory against Ferrero in the early afternoon. Whether their performances earlier in the week will affect their game today remains to be seen. The match will take place around 3pm this afternoon depending on the preceding play.
