Cheltenham Festival 2009: Race Schedule
Cheltenham Festival 2009 is at only a few weeks away. Jockeys and trainers around the country will be gearing up for the first major meeting of the year. In March, around 230,000 people will be at Cheltenham to witness the action and soak up the atmosphere. Across the country, well over £500 million will be wagered on the outcome of the 26 races. Total Prize Money in 2009 is £3.67m, an astonishing average of £141,000 for each Festival race. Here is the schedule for this year’s festival races.
