Cheltenham Festival TV Coverage 2010
There’s hardly any accurate information out there regarding the television coverage of this year’s 2010 Cheltenham Festival, so it falls to us, the punters pals that we are, at Systemlays, to provide the up-to-the-minute skinny for you all, so you don’t miss a trick in this week’s helter skelter Cheltenham Festival.
Each day, in the UK, the Cheltenham Festival racing coverage will be live on Channel 4, up until the 4 o’clock race, which will be the last event before, much the same as previous years, terrestrial viewers are left feeling somewhat cheated, looking at Noel Edmonds instead of enjoying the final events.
For those of us with dishes and digiboxes capable of the feat (I think it is a Sky Digital or Virgin Cable only subscription however) you can catch the final races on Racing UK – though this, too, is a subscription service. If you already have Sky Digital, you can sign up to Racing UK by clicking here, for the price of £20 per month (they also throw in a load of free race-day tickets and some other goodies too, which they reckon to be worth £600) for a years subscription.
In any case, here is the precise, race-by-race TV schedule for Cheltenham Festival 2010, so that we can all be sure to never miss a race – please note that you should be able to catch the final races online too, if you have fast broadband, but you may well need to place a bet with a bookmaker of more than £5 to secure this (see the Cheltenham Free bets post to get some info on this too!)
