Its day two of the Glorious Goodwood meeting 2008, and yet again we’ve got some excellent races in store for us. On this Glorious Goodwood Wednesday, we at Systemlays are yet again going to provide you with some free tips to use in Tote Placepots, Jackpots, Exactas and Trifectas as well as your more standard each-way tips too.

These Goodwood tips are there for your enjoyment as a lot of people ask for extra tips during the big meetings – and we hate to disappoint. They should also turn a profit over the week!

But enough of that, lets get down to the business of tipping horses for Glorious Goodwood…

As with yesterday, we shall tell you the race number, the race name, the time of the race, and the television channels upon which you can watch it in the UK.

Race 1 – Invesco Perpetual Goodwood Stakes – 2:15pm – Channel 4 / Racing UK

This race is over 2 miles and 5 furlongs – a supr long distance for a flat race – and one in which we expect a well hadicapped horse from slightly lower down the weights to go well. We select the following 4 horses for your each-way bets (4 places paid with many bookmakers), Tote Trifecta, Placepot, Jackpot and Exacta perms:

• Cavendish
• Directa’s Digger
• Daylami Dreams
• Keelung

Race 2 – Veuve Cliquot Vintage Stakes – 2:50pm – Channel 4 / Racing UK

This 7 furlong Group 2 is as ever quite a tricky race to predict, though we have Sayif and Firth of Fifth standing slightly proud of the rest of the field based on our speed ratings.

Race 3 – BGC Sussex Stakes – 3:30pm – Channel 4 / Racing UK

Henrythenavigator has improved and improved for us this season, winning each of his three starts in impressive stlye. The perfect miler, this horse has found his distance. Today looks a good opportunity for Henrythenavigator to add to his already very impressive season. Of the rest of the field, we fancy Winker Watson and Raven’s Pass to push him home, and those two make up our selections for Placepot perms.

Race 4 – Sir Peter O’Sullevan Voice Of Racing Stakes – 4:05pm – Channel 4 / Racing UK

In this mile and a half heritage handicap, we select the following two horses as good each-way opportunities:

• My Aunte Fanny
• Manyriverstocross 

Race 5 – Weatherby’s Bank E B F Fillies Stakes – 4:40pm - Racing UK

This is another of those almost imponderably close races that Glorious Goodwood has provided us with time and again. In this race wee feel the following three horses represent the best chance of winning:

• Maramba
• Spell Caster
• Jazz Jam

We suggest small each-way, Tote Exacta or Trifecta perms on the above three, for very small stakes.

Race 6 – Winston’s Wish Maiden Fillies Stakes – 5:15pm – Racing UK

These maiden events are never easy, but we select Aahaygirl and Ruasgreyasme to make up this final leg of the Tote Placepot and Jackpot.

Race 7 – Kennels E B F Classified Stakes – 5:50pm - Racing UK

Just one horse this time, a solid each-way selection: Monkey Glas
