Day Four of Glorious Goodwood 2008. On Glorious Goodwood Friday, we’re once again giving you some free tips to use in Tote Placepots, Jackpots, Exactas and Trifectas as well as your more standard each-way tips too.

Yesterday saw us land the Tote Exacta in the first race! The payout was just over 15-1, so not quite as good as Wednesday’s 150-1+ effort, but a reasonable start.

On with today’s Glorious Goodwood tips:

For each race we’ll give you the race number, the race name, the time of the race, and the television channels upon which you can watch it in the UK. Of course, we’ll then give you the tips!

Race 1 - Coutts Glorious Stakes - 2:15pm - Channel 4 / Racing UK

The first race of the day is a Group 3 event over 1 mile and a half, our speed ratings suggest the following three horses, in this order:

• Tranquil Tiger
• Crime Scene
• Lion Sands

A small Combination Exacta with Totesport should be enough for some interest here, and may well pay dividends. Also good selections for a Jackpot or Placepot (oh, the Scoop6 is running today too!).

Race 2 - Rolf Group Stewards’ Sprint Stakes - 2:50pm - Channel 4 / Racing UK

Another of those huge field sprint handicaps that we all know and love! Finding the key to these races can be tricky - we’ve selected three horses which have been faster than the rest of late:

• Best One
• Rocker
• Idle Power

Some large prices can be found in these events, though - expect each of these to start above the 20-1 mark (you will probably get VERY long odds on these on Betfair - back to win and to place) - well worth a few each-way bets for small stakes - one or two places should see a small profit, with a winner netting you a great return.

Race 3 - Totesport Mile - 3:30pm - Channel 4 / Racing UK

Just two horses stand out in this 20 runner Heritage Handicap, Cape Hawk and Flipando, who stand a little proud of the rest by our ratings at these weights. Cape Hawk carries the bottom weight despite having produced some excellent performances, with a recent win at Ascot standing the horse in good stead. Flipando has been very highly tried - this is more attainable - and on past performances, Flipando should be right in the shake-up providing things go his way.

Race 4 - Sir Tristram Ricketts Memorial Richmond Stakes - 4:05pm - Channel 4 / Racing UK

There is one stand-out horse for us in this Group 2 6f sprint - that is Saxford. We expect Prolific to follow him home. Suggested bet - Reverse Exacta on those two, each-way bet on Saxford.

Race 5 - RSA Nursery - 4:40pm - Racing UK

Sir Mark Prescott has two horses in this 7f juvenile event - Rapid Release and Haven’t a Clue. We have them both at the top of the pile based on our speed ratings. A small forecast on the two and small each-way bets suggested.

Race 6 - Oak Tree Stakes - 5:15pm - Racing UK

We select just the one each-way hopeful in this fillies and mares Group 2 7f race - and that is Clifton Dancer.

Race 7 - Turf Club Stakes - 5:50pm - Racing UK

Another sprint, this time over the shortest distance of 5 furlongs, sees us select the top three that stand quite well ahead of the rest of the field based on their last few times:

• Light Hearted
• Bosun Breeze
• Wotashirtfull
