Free Horse Racing Backing Tips Thursday 31st July 2008

Here are the free UK & Irish horse racing backing tips for Thursday 31st July 2008. Follow our staking plan, or a substantially similar one to maximise your profit potential and minimise your risk. Each way bets mean, on Betfair, halving your stake and playing half on the win market, and half on the place market (providing the race pays 3 or more places - and that the place price available is 2.0 or higher - if these criteria are not met, then bet win only, for half your stake.)

  1. Please remember that, on Betfair, despite there being fewer than 8 runners, due to non-runners, this race remains “3 to be placed” in the place terms. This means that (currently) Dragon Slayer would only have to beat 4 to return a slight profit for your money (with half stake on the win and half on the place). Keep an eye on any more non-runners, however, as the reduction factor might come into play.

Dragon Slayer is currently trading at 2.6 to place and 9.6 to win.
