Last Year’s Tote Pay-Outs at Ascot

Highlights from last year include:

  • Totejackpot: The totejackpot pool reached a high of £208,527 on Thursday last year when it was won outright, paying a massive £148,054 to £1.
  • Toteplacepot: The toteplacepot pool reached a new record total for Ascot of £489,120 on Tuesday last year, beating the previous high of £348,825 achieved in 2006. The total pool exceeded £400,000 every day during Royal Ascot 2007, with over £480,000 recorded on three days. The average payout was £499 to £1 last year, with the biggest dividend of £1,898 to £1 recorded on Tuesday.
  • Totequadpot: The biggest totequadpot payout last year was £170 to £1 on Tuesday, closely followed by £159 to £1 on Saturday – not bad value for four placed horses!
  • Totewin: The totewin dividend beat the starting price in 22 out of 30 races over the five days of the Royal Meeting last year. A £10 totewin on all 30 winners would have paid £950 more than SP overall.
  • Toteexacta: The toteexacta beat the computer straight forecast in 23 out of 30 races last year, paying 61% more than the CSF overall.
  • Totetrifecta: The totetrifecta produced some massive payouts at Royal Ascot last year, including £5,030 to £1 on the Ascot Stakes and £4,646 to £1 on the Wokingham Stakes – when the pool topped six figures for the first time, achieving a record total of £100,786.
