Premier League Football Tips – Sunday 5th April 2009
Its another ‘Super Sunday’ today with the League holders, Manchester United, trying to get back to winning ways against fellow form-dippers Aston Villa, who had looked like securing fourth place until the wheels fell off a couple of weeks ago. Everton, another side looking for a European place, also take on a side similarly booming, in Wigan, at Goodison.
Everton v Wigan, 15:00
Wigan have picked up probably more points than many would have expected already to date this season, while Everton have looked assured of a top six finish for many months. Despite a small squad, and no shortage of injury problems, Everton have enough in their starting line-up to take this home fixture today by the odd goal.
Advised: Back Everton to win @ 4/5 with Ladbrokes or Totesport
Man Utd v Aston Villa, 16:00
Man United should get back to winning ways today against an out of sorts Villa side who may well be giving up on a Champion’s League place after Arsenal’s workmanlike victory yesterday. Fergusen has been working hard to explain that his team can bounce back. If Ronaldo returns to form, the side wins, if not, they may well struggle. It would help if United could keep ten men on the pitch for 90 minutes, too.
