Systemlays UK Tip 33/1 Newcastle Winner… for Free!

Success Should be Celebrated!
Its a rarity that horse racing tipsters get any credit for tipping a winner, much less on the internet.
Having a commments form on every page, as we do, means that we are open to the fury of anyone who followed us in when things go wrong (though in fact its most usually used by those running paid subscription-based tipping services trying to slip their links in
) – as was the case a few weeks ago when a user commented ‘ur tips suck’ after we’d tipped three racing ‘back’ selections, all of which had failed to win (one was placed at 8/1).
In light of that, its particularly pleasing when, not more than three weeks since that innaccurate message was received we’ve really got things back on track in terms of both backing and laying, with some spectacular results – which have been helped by our recent audit which saw us shift our ratings filters significantly (we’re still working on a piece describing these changes in full, but this will not be prepared until after Grand National 2009).
On the Laying front, we are the fourth most profitable laying services available on the internet for the 30 days to 28th March 2009 (source, Racing Index), and still, as always, the free-est!
On the backing side, today we had 2 each-way tips at Newcastle. The first, Solway Sunset in the 3.10, won at an SP of 33/1 – we were matched at 46.o on Betfair this morning. Our other selection narrowly missed out on profit by finishing one place out of the frame, in fourth.
So, after a muddling fortnight has seen us drop 10 points of Backing Betting Bank, we are now well ahead for the month of March. As last year proved, the spring racing and the flat season proper on turf are our time to shine, so this really bodes well for the months ahead.
If you’d followed us in for the whole of March and played our suggestions pound for pound, you would now be approximately 18 points in front.

I matched this tip at 60-1 on Betfair, so very happy with your tipping performance having only been following for a few weeks. long may it continue!
Good to hear it, D!
We saw 50 soon after we were matched, so its nice to hear you got an even better price – the Betfair SP was 60, too, so as is often the case with longer ones, those who take BSP are rewarded. Having said that, the reverse can often be true too with BSP, so we generally take prices.
This is the second longest priced winner we’ve tipped on Betfair prices – the best was Scottish National 2008 winner Iris De Balme, for which we were matched at over 100.0 (SP of 66-1 BSP of 75.0).
